Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. Can they be copied from another computer or something? How can this be done? #G930 DRIVERS WINDOWS 10 STEREO DRIVERS#
I only want to get my trusty ol' windows 7 audio drivers back. They can't be rolled back (greyed out) and I can't restore the system (had it disabled as per SSD manager 17514 - but W10 insisted on loading the "more suitable" Realtek Drivers. Things worked fine with the generic Audio Drivers from Windows 7.

The Device Manager says everything's alright (no errors whatsoever), but I can't get any sound. I tried pretty much every recommendation around and nothing. Nonetheless, the Audio Drivers issue is really upsetting. Ok, so I decided to give W10 a second chance, because I DO think there are many interesting and redeeming features. Well, actually it's the second time I upgrade, because the first time around was a catastrophic failure (see other thread). I have a Asus N55SL laptop - originally with Windows 7 - and I recently upgraded to Windows 10.

I know that the Realtek discussion is an onld one, but I still haven't found a proper solution for my question.
